Seventh Harvest
Biennial Reception and Awards Ceremony September 15
Arts Place is holding
the awards ceremony for the
Seventh Harvest Biennial Regional Juried Exhibition
in Hugh N. Ronald Gallery at the Portland Center on
Saturday, September 15, 2007. The event begins at
6:00 p.m., and is open to the public with free
admission.
Artists from
Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky
compete on odd-numbered years for $2,000 in cash
awards. Top prize is $1,000 Best of Show. This
year’s exhibit features 53 works by 31 artists.
Jurors for the
Seventh Harvest Biennial were Tom Torluemke and
Linda Dorman, co-owners of
Uncle Freddy’s Gallery and Dorman + Torluemke,
an arts facilitation and advocacy business in
Highland, Indiana.
The Seventh Harvest
Biennial Exhibition will be on display in the Hugh
N. Ronald Gallery from September 10, 2007 through
November 3, 2007. Admission to the gallery is free.
Gallery hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday, and 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
