Mitchell Place
Gallery Moving to a New Home
Mitchell Place Gallery has a new home in downtown
Muncie. The Gallery is closing its doors permanently
at the end of this month, but with a kind donation
by Mike Powell of Jack’s Camera Shop they’ll
continue as MPG in a new location at 308 E. Main St.
in downtown Muncie.
The gallery was scheduled to close its doors
permanently at the end of August after new owners
purchased the building in June. The organization was
given the option to buy the space, but could not
afford it.
MPG will participate in the 1st Thursday Art Walks
in downtown Muncie and be open limited hours and by
appointment. MPG will also continue their "Living
Artist" series. |

The first opening reception at the new location will

is entitled “Recycled Dreams: The New MPG” and will
feature digital collages by Dave Franklin.
